Revocable Living Trust
Everyone should have a living trust!
A living trust is sometimes called a "revocable living trust". It is a written legal document through which your assets are placed into a trust for your benefit during your lifetime and then transferred to designated beneficiaries at your death by your chosen representative, called a "successor trustee."
A living trust does not have to be complicated. It can be as simple as placing your property and bank account into the trust.
I have been doing living trusts for my real estate clients for the last 25 years and I am opening the service up to anyone who needs to protect their property and valuables from creditors and others. This also insures your property will not go into probate upon your death.
I have created a Trust Package that gives you everything you need to protect you and your loved ones!
The package price is $495 and includes:
With these documents, there is no need for an attorney. However, I would suggest consulting with an estate attorney if you have a complicated situation.
When you order my Trust Package, you simply fill in the documents with your information. You'll need to get the documents notarized to make them legal. Then you need to keep them in a safe place and give a copy to beneficiaries and the successor trustee you will name in the trust document.
The only document you will show to the bank or anyone needing verification that you have a trust is the one page "Certification of Trust".
I email these documents to clients and they fill them out and get them notarized. If you prefer, I can type your documents, print them out and email to you or you can pick them up. There's $100 extra charge for this.
You’ll fill in secure information such as your bank account information.
Don’t forget that the documents will need to be notarized to make them legal.
You can take them to your local notary (Postal Annex, UPS Store or other) or you can call a mobile notary to come out and notarize the documents for you. They usually charge a fee per signature. You’ll have one signature for the “Revocable Trust”, one signature for the “Certification of Trust” and one or more signatures for the “Quitclaim Deed” (which places your property into the trust name).
CLICK HERE to order the package by using PayPal, venmo or credit card. Be sure to add your email on the order form OR you may call Cheryl at (951) 318-6420 to order. You may pay using the same methods, plus Zelle is available.
Very important! If you are doing a reverse mortgage, you need to close on the reverse mortgage first, then put your home in the “Revocable Living Trust” and send your lender the “Certification of Trust”.
Please ask me if you need information on Reverse Mortgages. I am a licensed loan broker and I can provide you a quote on a reverse mortgage.
